The condition of bearings on the Fresh Water Pump in the Water Treatment Plant plays a crucial role in maintaining the operational continuity of the machine. However, excessive vibration in bearings often becomes the primary cause of damage that can halt operations and lead to significant losses. This study aims to analyze vibration levels in pump bearings, compare data between 2021 and 2023, and provide preventive maintenance recommendations to enhance system reliability and efficiency.The research method used is Condition Monitoring, with vibration data collection conducted on the Drive End (DE) and Non-Drive End (NDE) sides of the pump using the SKF Machine Condition Advisor vibration measuring device. The data were measured in vertical, horizontal, and axial directions and then analyzed using Trend Analysis techniques to identify patterns or trends in the changes in machine condition measurement values over time.The research results indicate a significant increase in vibration levels in all directions in 2023 compared to 2021, particularly in the vertical and horizontal directions. The highest vibration spike was observed on the Drive End (DE) side, rising from 2.4 gE in 2021 to 3.8 gE in 2023. According to SKF 10816 company standards for machines above 15 kW, vibration levels below 2.3 gE are considered good (Zone B), while levels between 2.3–4.5 gE fall into the alert category (Zone C). Therefore, the recorded value of 3.8 gE in 2023 is classified as within the alert zone, indicating bearing condition degradation and the potential for further damage if not addressed. These results suggest a decline in bearing performance due to increased operational load or deteriorating technical conditions. Preventive maintenance recommendations include routine monitoring, adequate lubrication, and periodic component inspections to prevent further damage and maintain optimal performance.
